Confident Kids Home Tuition - 1 to 1 private tuition service for primary school children
Kids' Websites Page 2

Gathered here are various links to websites we use when teaching pupils. They can be used just as easily either with parents, older siblings or in many cases by children themselves to practise various concepts and skills.
If you find any good websites yourself and think others may benefit from it please email us and we'll add it to the site (same goes for mistakes or broken links!)

Here you can download and print various sheets for your child to practise their handwriting on.

This is another VLE (Virtual Learning Environment) aimed at schools so is a subscription service. Personally I prefer Education City for children to practise on, but it does have some good content.

Similar to Tutpup but for older learners. It does offer content for Primary School pupils, but I think they've aimed the spelling difficulty too high for each supposed year group. Worth a try though.

I've put this on because I guarantee your child's school has posters from here somewhere on the wall. It's great for printing out free times tables posters, or phonic posters etc... in fact, anything at all educational that your child needs to remember.

More handwriting worksheets to download for free.

Just what it says! I use this for number bonds sheets, and for formal practice i.e. short addition with carrying, decomposition etc...

Private tuition in Wigan, Warrington and St.Helens.
Another free site offering maths and literacy games.

If it can be used by teachers in school to demonstrate and practise on, it can be used at home too. A large collection of excellent resources for teaching skills and concepts in several subjects.

This website is specifically aimed at helping parents teach their children. Most primary levels are covered in both maths and English, and the phonics section is particularly useful.

All kids love to see optical illusions. Here there is a large collection.

This is an excellent resource for older learners - teaching and practising English and maths through a wide range of activities, printable sheets and online games.
